Advance tickets are recommended but not required for a visit to the museum.
Tickets purchased in advance may be redeemed on any day that the museum is open to the public up to 365 days after purchase. Admission prices include all Special and Focus Exhibitions and the museum’s collection galleries.

Some programs and events carry an admission charge or registration fee in addition to the museum’s general admission. These tickets include admission to exhibitions and the collection galleries as part of the program or event registration fee.
Groups of 10 or more, as well as all third-party guided tours of any size, are required to register in advance when planning a visit to the DAI. Registered groups receive a discounted admission rate of $10 per visitor, making group visits both convenient and affordable. Members and Patrons enjoy free and unlimited entry to the DAI on any day the museum is open to the general public. Upon arrival, simply scan your digital membership card at the Visitor Experience desk for admission.
Affiliated Organization Discounts are available to museum visitors through a variety of partnerships, helping make access more affordable. Admission discounts may be offered through programs such as Blue Star Museums, Museums on Us and Museums for All.

The museum also partners with Dayton Metro Area Libraries, allowing guests to “check out” a DAI Membership. Each membership provides admission for up to two adults and four children, including access to collection galleries and all exhibitions. These memberships can be borrowed for up to three weeks. Please contact your local library for more information.
The DAI hosts three Art for All weekends each year, offering free museum admission to the entire community. These events support the DAI’s mission to make art accessible across the Miami Valley by removing cost barriers for families, students and art lovers of all ages and backgrounds.
